Happy 3 Months!

Sawyer was THRILLED to take his 3 month picture!

Weight: 14lbs 1.5oz

We decided to go camping...

and it was a success! We took advantage of my last few days of maternity leave and camped at Fern Basin in Idyllwild. We had SO much fun and Sawyer seemed to really enjoy it too! He slept better there than he has been sleeping at home! Go figure...maybe we should set up the tent in our backyard and let him spend his nights out there. :)


My sisters won't be surprised to know that I picked out the perfect camping outfit for Saywer! The bad news is we weren't at the campground for more than five minutes before Sawyer had a HUGE explosion and that was the end of the camping outfit. Good thing I snapped this picture before we left the house!


Jeremiah and I were really proud that our 11 week old was taking such a great nap in the tent!


I got a little closer and saw that he actually wasn't taking a nap...oh well.


We were glad we brought "bouncer the babysitter" along with us.


I requested a picture of Sawyer and I because I don't want him to look back at his baby pictures and wonder if his dad raised him alone.


I pretty much always want to take a big bite out of this little chunk of love!

Does this picture need an explanation? Sawyer was hoping Jeremiah would nurse him, Jeremiah was pretty much over me having to document our entire camping experience and Reagan wanted to chase down the couple walking to the bathroom.

Happy 1st Father's Day!

Sawyer is very lucky to have such a great dad!

3 Monkeys & 2 Crazy Ladies

That's right! Auntie Tiff, Zeke & O invited us to the L.A. Zoo and we had a great time!

Yes, this picture was as awkward in the moment as it looks.


Snikiddys are key to a successful outing.


Zeke LOVED that one of the gorillas was named Evelyn. He immediately said, "Like Grandma Evie!"

We were all feeling a little fragile when we got back to the car. A few blocks and a Starbucks stop later we had 3 sleeping kids and 2 happy moms. :)
